Makeup and skincare for sensitive skin
Firstly, you should avoid a glut of chemistry. You should stop buying all products that have beautiful (but artificial) scents or that are not expiring till the end of the world. Such products contain chemicals: preservatives, dyes, artificial fragrances that may irritate your skin. Apart from that, most of the sensitive skin types do not tolerate alcohol in care products. Alcohol is often used in products designed to address oily skin. If your skin is oily but sensitive, do not try to make it matte with products containing alcohol.
Before you start to seek for products for makeup for sensitive skin, address your skin needs by a proper care routine. As all types of skin, also sensitive skin should be cleaned and moisturized. Do not rub your face while cleansing and do not use peelings that may scratch your epidermis.
What products should i use?
Makeup products for sensitive skin have slightly different content than ordinary products. The first main difference is that they do not contain parabens, which are the most common preservatives used in almost every cosmetic, from a moisturizer to mascara. The other problem may be fragrance, because compounds creating nice scent react with a skin causing redness and irritation. It is recommended to use fragrance-free products of everyday skin-care and for makeup as well.
